Should I replace my current shoes (+481 Strength compared to newer shoes +69% Smelling Salts (hitpoints set to 1 after a normally fatal hit), with new shoes that have -481 Strength like I said, +212 Charisma, +326 Finesse and a Euphoriant Perfume (45% chance to attack twice in a row after suffering a critical hit.)

Where the skill points currently are on a new piece doesn't matter. Only overall +skills. After all, you can change where the skills are on a piece with the washing machine.

If I read this correctly, you are comparing two pieces.

Current piece is 69% smelling salts

New piece is 45% Euphoriant Perfume and (212+326-481) = +57 total skils

This one seems very easy to me.

+57 skills is not enough to pay for losing smelling salts. Smelling salts simply rule.  If you are building a revenge build, i suppose you might like the perfume, but I personally detest all refinements that require you to be hit before they do anything (mostly because they don't do *anything* if you die from the blow.)

YMMV, of course.

Should I swap a Gadget with:  -216 Strength, -61 Stamina, +152 Charisma, +150 Finesse, +22 Damage. +COLORFUL PLASTIC BALLS Refinement (12% increased missle damage)?

Depends upon the refine your current gadget has. The new item is -216-61+152+150 = +25 skills. That's not a lot. The +22 damage is basically insignificant, even multiplied by the Colorful Balls.

In my personal opinion, the Colorful Balls refinement is good at very low levels, where missile damage tends to be a larger portion of each hit. But the refine you want as you get stronger is the Rivets, because it adds damage based upon your entire hit.

Is my new +21 Stamina, +364 Charisma, -307 Finesse, (for a total of +78 more skill points than my current piercing), better than the current one I use? (Keep in mind it has a refinement that just decreases my opponent's dodging chance by 1%.)

However, the current piercing I have has a refinement that gives me a 7% chance to stun my opponent for one round.

Anyways, thanks as always for answering my questions... I am terrible at making decisions. xD

I would say yes.

You can redistribute the attributes with the washing machine if you still need some Finesse.

I don't know the level of your star but 78 points isn't that much of an increase to go to the lesser (IMO) refinement. I would hold out for a better duct tape myself. Put that one in sellable for sell temple.

More generically, when looking at items like this:

1) Take the rarest refinement. Epics before rares before commons

2) If you have epic or rare refinements, the value of the refinement tends to swamp a small number of +skills. Combat refinements are generally better than skill refinements. The combat refinements you want depend upon upon your build to some extent.

3) If you are comparing items which only have common refinements, take the skills. Common refinements aren't enough by themselves to matter much.

I have 6,000 stats in all but strength which is almost 5,000 and my level is 214. Any advice on how to grow my character would be most welcome. :)

Should I use my new Headpiece: -320 Strength, +743 Charisma, +244 Finesse. -559 Stamina. (Total: +108) along with a +3% Charisma refinement. (Bad I know, I plan on improving it). Or my current Headpiece which has a 21% chance to attack twice in a row?

Should I replace my current leg item (which has a 15% chance to reduce missle damage by 75%) to a new leg item (that has a 6% chance to reduce missle damage by 75%) and 15- strength, +207 Stamina, -26 Charisma, and -63 Finesse (TOTAL: +103)?

How much damage do you do?

I would count that +115 as giving an extra 115 damage per strike. On a 10 round duel, that is 1150 damage points.  if 14% of the total damage you do is greater than 1150, keep the current refinement.

I think that refinement is kind of poor, myself. So I would go with the better skills.
