   I am wondering because I want to hunt down patterns that will make my gear look cool now that so much time goes by without me swapping them out.

As Mountbara said, there are only the collection items that are listed and have images. You would have to hover other items to see how they look on your avatar.

I have found this thread on the german forum, which has players posting pictures of some collections, including from parties, special events, film shoots and Wanda's shop.

Here's another thread. It's on the french forum, a player has put up pictures of female avatar collections, up to 23/04/2018 update. Just lots of pictures, without descriptions.
