Update to my original post:

I've been playing around with this and I just found a way to exploit this for the temple. Way to go BBE.

Splain the sploit please. :) Not just because it needs to be fixed if they left themselves exploitable but also because if it's something intentional meant to be a factor in the current temple.

Myself, I don't see as it's going to give more film points than a 3 hour film would and those willing to spend diamonds can make sure they get all 3 hour films. The temple is film *points, not missions.

How to exploit the feature

"There will now always be a movie mission which can be completed with the energy you have left."

This example will be based on a 3hr movie (2000 movie points)

As you all know, the way to do well in the movie point temple is to get your movie points as close to 1999 as possible and then hope you get a great spawn for the last 3 missions. In other words, you want to go OVER the 2000 as much as possible. In the past, you only got one shot at this and if the last 3 missions were all low movie points, you had to accept that. The new feature BBE added changes all that because it creates the opportunity to re-roll your missions while slowly creeping up to the 1999 goal.

Here's how you do it:

Just do your movie missions at first as you usually do. When you get to around 1800, ALWAYS make sure your movie energy is ONE more than the mission you choose to do BEFORE you launch that mission. For example, if the mission you want to run is 6 energy, wait until you have 7 energy before you launch it. The whole point here is to ALWAYS have only one energy left after running your mission.

This will now spawn a ONE energy mission and 2 random ones. If you like one of the random ones, then pick that one BUT make sure you don't launch it until your movie energy is ONE greater than the mission.

Why do this? Well as you get closer to the 1999, the random missions might not be large enough to give you that many points over the 2000. In that case, you just run the ONE energy mission, making sure you wait until you have TWO points of movie energy. This will get you a very little bit closer to 1999 but it will also spawn a new set of missions, including another 1 energy mission. As you keep doing this, you creep ever closer to 1999 until you have the right mission for you to go over 2000 as much as possible.

Basically, the 1 energy mission is a free roll.

IMPORTANT: If you do this, you have to micro manage your movies because you never want your remaining movie energy to be greater than ONE after you complete a mission

NOTES: The one energy missions seem to range from 9 to 14 movie points so keep that in mind as you approach the 1999 goal

Heh. at this point, I'm so burnt on long films I take the shortest available no matter what and temples and studios can go blow for all I care. I know about the going over bit but that's just splitting hairs as far as I'm concerned. TY for taking the time to explain though. I'm sure some will find it quite useful. :)

Here's a thought for the flashing icon.  It should only occur in 2 circumstances.

1.   Your movie expired and you now need to extend it

2.   Your movie energy is at a full 30. I would really like this option.   I can't tell you how many times I forgot I had a movie going, let the energy fill up and then forgot about it.

Any other flashing is needless and annoying.   Please re-think this change.  Thank you.

This idea from Wuffy is a bang on amazing suggestion. Fantastic! Please do this!! This way it's only going to flash to say "hey this expired, you finishing this or what?" or "hey there, you have full film energy, in case you lost track".

I don't like more notifications. If you go on yahoo and look up how to turn off notifications in windows 10, you get 47 million search results. If you look up how to turn notifications ON, you get 3 million results, and every result on the first page is either how to (still) turn them off, or at best, how to enable/disable. That number tells ya something, users want less, not more notifications, and this flashing is a constant annoying one we can't turn off. However, if it only flashes in the two situations Wuffy described, it would be fine, and actually very beneficial!!!

I personaly think the "extra" movie or party trick at the start of a temple is more of an exploit than the 1 point missions.

I noticed that skill missions are now 12, 14, and 16 points per energy depending on difficulty.

On a side note, the items for male, with the angel, devil corsets... Has anyone found the collection they supposed to go in? They don't even show the note in the top telling me I don't have it yet?

They are both in the Just Heavenly collection.

Ok, now that we are a week+ into this "upgrade", I can comment a bit more on it.   I am getting used to the 1 or 2 energy movie missions which actually work fairly well for 30 minute movies.   The blinking is still quite annoying and I find it an un-needed addition.   Please at least add some sort of toggle to turn the damn thing off.     My best solution so far is to do short movies, finish them and not have to see it flashing at me all day.

I believe the HTML5 interface also does not flash. You may want to consider that option. The flashing is replaced by a halo or glow around the movie camera icon.

I have retired from the game, but not from life.

HTML5 is laggy on the other servers and not available on the NU server.   Not an option for me.   Why can't we turn the option off?  I have ALL animations off right now (crashing less with not seeing duels at least) but I still have to deal with a flashing movie icon.
