Please use this topic to discuss the latest game update:

 

The following changes were made today (2020-05-26):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
New features
PvP Tournament
• From now on, a cross-server PvP Tournament will take place every week!
• Compete with movie stars from all over the world!
• Collect points participating in duels. In case of a draw, the amount of fights won decide.
• The best 3000 players receive experience points as reward.
• The first PvP Tournament starts directly with the update and runs until Wednesday 19:00 UTC
• The following PvP Tournaments will start every Wednesday 19:00 UTC and run until the following Wednesday 19:00 UTC.

 

General
• The best players in Conventions can now also win likes for the Streaming Feature.
• In your browser, you can now activate notifications which inform you about new private messages in conversations, started events and studio attacks/defences.

 

Maintenance
HTML5 Version
• Continuous text should now be displayed more clearly.
• It was possible that text, which was entered into private messages, was entered into the team chat instead. This issue has been fixed.
• Text could not be pasted. This issue has been fixed.

 

General
• It was possible, that the background in duels was not displayed correctly. This issue has been fixed.
• Several minor bugs have been fixed.

Mobile app tells me that I need to update.

Nutaku app tells me that all my apps are up to date.

Alright, I'll bite. How do you attack anybody in this tournament??? You gave us all this nifty incentive, but no damned instructions! Somebody's figured it out (or been told), 'cause there's a lot of names on the PvP rankings list. How about letting the rest of us in on the secret?

Ah, it's a misleading promo. You can't attack anyone on another server. You just "compete" with your normal duels.LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It never said that you attack other players on other servers. It said you compete.

This new update made the front size in chat into a micro font. I'm probably close to needing my first pair of glasses anyway, but I could the chat in studio before, and now it's insanely small. I'm not the only one. This can't have been intentional, so please fix.

You will have to ask Nutaku themselves. This happens every maintenance, because they still need to update on their and and repack it for their players. This is why I dislike social medias on the games that I do or do not play :)

It's not a fair competition if #2000 and #2001 have the same number of fights but get different rewards.  So older accounts would likely have advantage.

SoloTemple, revealed how many stupid people are able to spend money completely unnecessarily on the server.
PVP will show how many such people are in the world

How do I see this ranking list anyway? I can't see anything new.

it's not available on NU1, like star missions.

How much xp are we talking about and will this even come over to the NU1 server?

I submitted a ticket but I figured I'd mention it here as well.  Using Chrome in NU1 - there is no blinking cursor on the chat line.   Quite annoying and fairly difficult to tell when you are active on the chat or where you are typing.

 

p.s.  New Font sucks.

Sorry I misunderstood (English being just my native language) that you could compete in a Player vs Player tournament without being able to attack the majority of the competing players. It must be a Playata concept.

It's ok, it happens. There's a good reason for it as well. There are quite a sum of players on multiple servers. If it was about attacking other players, you could push yourself by putting 1 of your toons without gear and attack it. Easy points of course.

Just like in the BBA, if the points are equal, both are at #2000, and the next ranking would be #2002.

That would fully depend on Nutaku. I don't see it likely coming there, as a lot of features are not there and they don't seem to have the intention to add it.

 

Also being behind the Nutaku server, makes it impossible to add a cross server ranking. Their firewalls and network simply will block it, as also is in the case of the global rankings. Therefor getting this pvp on Nutaku is highly unlikely, if I were to guess.

Currently we  have the several bugs/questions raised for the pvp, mostly from the French:

 

- Translation error: Turnierende xx-xx-xxxx

-  for the rewards, what is 45% experience? What is that %?

- Impossible to use a search in the ranking

- How fast is the ranking updated?

- New bug : seems that we can invite in our studio somebody without studio from another server....

 

We are working on getting some answers on these. 

If you have any extra questions or bugs you encountered, please submit a ticket for it, so we can relay this to the devs to answer.
