   What level were you when you started to find gold framed items? I have been playing the game for over a year and never found one.

I didn't know what a gold framed item was supposed to look like for the longest time.  I don't remember when I figured it out, but when I did, I realized I had been getting them all along.

this week I sold more than 300 items from the gold frame

I wish the border would be thicker so I could notice and save them....  out of curiosity are only epic items gold framed?

So far as I know, gold frames initially come only on epic items. You can use the sewing machine to make it look like a common or rare, though.

Interesting. I think I saw one, very early after they were introduced.  I haven't seen one since, so I though they had stopped that practice.

I found a common item with a gold frame once, but I think it's safe to say at least 99% of gold framed items are epics.

I've had a few common gold frame items. I've never seen rares though. BTW it may be helpful if a mod edited the actual subject into the post if it's staying so people don't have to figure it out in context? It appears the original 1st post is no longer there.

Naw, the unicorn is finding a wedding ring on a free store refresh. Also some epic refines on the freebie. Like glitter, spanish fly and tape.

From a sales perspective, these items are less valuable

common in gold frame 4 points

rare in gold frame 7 points

 

I will eventually sell them and fill the boxes with epic and epic gold frames
