Since Adobe Flash will no longer be supported by most browsers by December 2020 as noted in today's patch's notes, I presume this will be the last Advent Calendar that uses Flash?

Next year 31st December, Flash will become unsupported by browsers. This means the Advent calendar for next year can still run on Flash. Also unsupported won't mean it will cease to exist. But it's still far away. Who knows, perhaps it will be in html5 next year.

It will be in flash this year.
May I suggest you read the announcements for your answer?
Per Adobe's suggestion, I've removed Flash. Means I need to reinstall for advent calendar this year? Any proposal for what to do if Adobe refuses reinstallation? Also is the Advent calendar not available on the Android client since I assume it doesn't support Flash (and Google pushes to get rid of Flash on their platform, too).

All I know is, it's here on the forum and it uses flash. There is no html5 version yet, as Flash is still currently supported.
As for Android, I believe android phones use chrome, therefor most likely still have flash, my chrome browser on pc has it still as well.

I had to update my flash to be able to load up Advent calendar.
Why the Devs. did not change the format of it to HTML is beyond me. They've had plenty of time to plan ahead and make the appropriate changes in time. It's not like there wasn't months of warning and they have to change it for next year anyway, so why not now?
Anyhoo, it's up and running for me now I have the latest and final version of flash running and I appreciate the goodies.
Cheers

For the very simple reason: Flash is still supported, so it didn't need to be updated to html5 yet. The priority was, and has been to have the game bug-free on html5 first.
Personally I always use Google Chrome on my pc and laptop, that way they sync all my passwords, bookmarks etc. And Chrome standard has Flash built in, so that's no issue for me (on a sidenote, I even still play on flash)

Flash is not supported. When you click in the Advent Calendar button, you get a 404 error on Adobe's website.

That's only on phones, as Chrome only has flash built-in on pc version. For phones, you can use Puffin browser, and it will work:

It really is annoying that again this year I have to briefly switch over to Flash in order to redeem my Advent vouchers, then go back to HTML. I believe I mentioned this last year (my memory isn't what it used to be), and there still hasn't been a fix. Just because Flash is still available, though unsupported, is no reason to not fix the Advent Calendar. If the devs are waiting for HTML to run bug-free, it's NEVER going to be updated. This seems like a rather feeble excuse.

That's my fear as well, although they also had a whole year to build an html5 version
Just noticed the tab is there and it is referring to December 31st of 2021:
