When I try to collect my Big Bang Award I get "UNKNOWN ERROR sorry something went wrong please reload"

I have refreshed many times and clicked on the "Ranking list" icon to both claim my award and also begin dueling others. However, each time I get a pop up that says "UNKNOWN ERROR - Sorry, something went wrong. Please refresh the Big Bang Empire page. Should the error continue please go to the forum or contact support."

 

 If anyone has any knowledge of this issue and/or how to solve it please let me know asap.

I have been told by the company that they are aware of this and are working on a fix. They do not know the timeline but I consider this thread solved.
