Someone posted an idea of having the possibility to use other actors in one's films, but with that idea, comes the thought of having to request permission to use that character's likeness in their films.  So, what I propose is maybe making a way for studios, as a whole, to submit films maybe once per week or something.  

 

It could be similar to the studio fights, in that a Studio Film Production will also be an event in which everyone can participate in.  Each Studio member would submit an Actor, a Title, Supporting Actor, Layout, Cleavage, Background, Border, and Filter.  From there, the Studio Boss and the Producers would put together the film for the whole studio to submit.  Studio Diamonds and Cash can be used to insert extra features maybe, or if the Studio title needs to be changed.  The different options could be on a first-come, first-served basis.  So, if I logged on as a member and an Actor, Supporting Actor, Background, and Filter were already selected for the film studio, I could submit a Title, or Cleavage shot to be used in the final film for the studio.

 

I think this could get some more participation and talking in Studio chats and help them as they come together to produce films for the entire studio which could be voted on every week.

 

There could also be some tweaks to this idea as well, so if you have any ideas or suggestions that might help make this better, let us know what you think.

A studio would make films, right? I mean the studio screen itself is the set of a porn shoot.

Yes, that's what I was thinking.  The players could all post up the ideas for the film cover and even include maybe an actor or two instead of one of the Supporting actors maybe?  Then the boss and producers get to piece everything into a Studio Film which then goes up to the BBAs for voting.

 

I mean it doesn't exactly have to be like that, but some variation on that might be really fun.  Plus it would give Studios another opportunity to win cash, diamonds, or whatever for the studio.

I've been wanting the game to have some way to do a collaborative film for a while, although I never gave much thought to how the mechanics of it would actually work. I kind of pictured something like a convention, but just within the studio, where players would have to complete a set of tasks to make the film by its deadline. The more points the film got, the more customization of the cover or title. But it sounds like Sadie has really given this some thought.

 

In any case, I'd welcome something like this, and so would members of my studio.

Studio films would have to be compared strictly to other studio films, not personal ones. ...where would players vote for which one they liked better?  If it uses the same mechanism as the current BBAs, I would want a thorough explanation of how the damn thing actually works. The system seems to be "Do well early, or never do well at all..."

 

And as you probably all are aware, I hate snowball effects.

Yes of course.  There would need to be a separate place to vote on them and NOT have them compared to the regular personal ones.  Maybe there could be studio voting?  Not sure.  Either way, it might be neat to find a new option in the mission's map to vote on something different.

Whatever allows to do things together with other people and especially within the studio teams is great and will improve the fidelity to the studio and to the game!!
