Besides extra diamonds what do the "Colorful Rainbow Package" and "Large Colorful Rainbow Package" give you?

How many skills and what kind of item?

I bought the big package.  Don't recall getting an item.  I had more skill points than I was expecting after a movie, but can't recall when I bought the package and when I finished the movie or what I did that might have earned me more skill points.  

 

Not saying the Mod is wrong, but I'm more than doubtful he's right.

You get nothing extra besides diamonds if you have purchased any package before. If you haven't, you get an increase in batteries from 8 to 16.

This is for US2 server, I am unaware of anything different on other servers, but I know you are on US2

I only play on NU1.  My understanding is that US2 is Nataku's censored version.  So the same would apply to both....

 

I got the battery increase from 8 to 16 from a "starter bonus" package early on.   Mountbara is a trustworthy source to the point of blind faith.  If you don't have the battery increase this is worth getting.  It doubles the amount of batteries you can use, not just store.

Only in that you now have more diamonds to spend to get more skills and items thru normal game play. The packages themselves only contain diamonds.
