Quick question: Does doing voting ballot missions (and voting for the BBA) affects your BBA movie chance to get votes as well?    (not sure if my question is clear enough)

I know you are asking Kitekat, but as far as the game dynamics go, the only thing that affects how often your film shows up in voting is the number of films you make each week. Think of it as a lottery like the NBA has, you make 21 films, you get 21 slips that go in a big bowl, the same with everyone, number of films, number of slips. Then 2 of the slips are randomly (using the random number generator) are selected and these are the films you see to vote on. A refresh does the whole thing again. Other factors, on monday, all films are in for vote. On tuesday, all films that did not get a vote on monday are dropped from the voting list, on friday, the top 100 with ties are the only ones left, and on saturday and sunday, the top 50 with ties. So the more successful your film is, the more often it shows up, even with the random factor included.

i have already seen newbies at the top with only a single movie

and last but not least my own movie sometimes jumps up and down in the ranking like a flummy

 

ok last sometimes a movie shows up several times in a row

impossible with a working random number generator

on our server, the practice is that two guys and several diamond bags can influence the random number generator

It doesn't sound like a fair system, if you are not lucky enough to get a vote on monday, you lose?

So again being a newbie trying to find answers I find an old post and new questions...

 

There is a elimantion process to what gets selected for voting as the week goes on?

 

The question I was searching for was What does the same studio tag look like in voting.  I don't think I've ever seen a studio movie in voting, though I have seen the same movie multiple times.

 

I'm also assuming since I've never actually seen the same title twice in a given week in the rankings, that the random name generator some how keeps track?

It is possible to get the same random title as someone else. Right after reset on Sunday, before there are many votes, you can look through the list of titles basically sorted alphabetically. You can find duplicate random titles that way.

 

The precise cutdown rules are not completely understood. But yes, there are cutdowns as the week progresses.
