An ironing board?

Would it be possible to have an ironing board that would allow you to take two or more  of the same item and combine them together into one single item?

I think that would be more like a sewing machine, but I understand that is already taken. 

 

What would the properties be of the combined items? 


I have retired from the game, but not from life.

Combine the attributes of the items. If you have two of the same shoes and one is +100 strength and the other is +100 charisma you can use the iron and press them into a single item that is +100 strength and +100 charisma. 

 

Having something like this would give me more incentive to purchase and or fill out partner surveys for diamonds.

More options are always better. Having something like this with one free use a day and more costing diamonds like the other things in the shop would be nice.

Combining the skillpoints of the items together, will severely unbalance the skill sets and such for every player and the game itself. I.e. my common unique skill items are 3000+ each, so combining them, would already make them 6000+, this will increase my skillpoints too much to keep track. Also this will immediately disrupt any skill mission/task at hand, as the game cannot balance the skill missions based on your skills. It bases on your level.

This game is not balanced and never will  be. So long as a person can spend diamonds at their leisure, trying to discuss balance is a moot point. 

 

There should be an alternative to waiting with inventory and storage tabs full of items to sell at a "sell your stuff" temple. A temple that you most likely will not win, for, there will always be someone with more or better items and of course a person who will spend diamonds to be in the number one spot. 

 

There is nothing wrong with giving players more options. Rather than tearing an idea down, why don't you suggest an improvement?

The only thing I would love to see similar to this would be to merge a wedding ring into a new plus skill ring. 

 

Once a wedding ring gets outdated by 100's of skills with a new one with the same refine players don't want to sell their wedding ring but other than permanently tossing it into storage, what else can we do with it?

The game is freemium, so taking out the diamonds will never happen. The game is setup for it.

 

How will you balance all the skill missions? How about dueling each other with someone having double their skills by merging for example? Also by merging and combining the skills, the differences in skills between levels will increase enormously. For example on the skill missions:

 

1. Keep skill missions as they are: Anyone with several items "merged" will win all skill missions without breaking a sweat or any effort, while the players without merging will have a "normal time" on them, like now.

 

2. Base the skill missions on merged setup: The ones with merged items will have a "normal current time with them", while someone unmerged has 0% chance to successfully complete them. 

 

 

Changing stats won't be a viable solution. However, merging 2 items into an item you don't have from a collection set? Or merging 2 epic items into 1 gold framed item? I personally am fully stocked, and remove any epics for gold frames. But eventually, even I will run out of storage for those, if the selling temple stays away too long from now. The selling temple needs to come more often, I agree to that, which is also a suggestion put out to the devs.

That is an idea, merge a ring with your wedding ring, to keep it updated. Those wedding rings should be the most meaningful items you have, and before I took a break, I never ever sold them.

My point of view is having storage tabs filled with items that give a total of +15, +20, +25 sp....usw. Is that combining two +20 items for a +40 item is not going to affect "game balance" in any way what so ever. 

 

Granted someone could spend their time and or their money to build a massive item. Yet it is their time and money. If that is how some people want to play the game let them. No difference from those mentioned in the all the other diamond spender threads.

 

Is there a developer on this forum?

I see that point on the +XX amounts, that would definitely be less unbalancing. But, gear/items are fully based on your level. So combining them, and adding the added sp might make it months before you will get something good new. 

 

On a different note, perhaps combining 2x epics into a "perfect item gold frame" could be a solution. These are for example the items you get if you spin 3x item on the casino and from Wanda's secret shop. If you can combine into this, you get a perfect +XX item. Would you like this?

 

 

Is there a developer on this forum?

 

Developers come to announce, that's it. Moderators and admins are those that report to them the suggestions etc, as will this one be.

What about a recycle machine where you can put 2 items in to get 1 new item back?  For example, I can combine a +20 shoes with a -100 necklace to make a +20 necklace, and lose the shoes in the process.

A developer's comments on how or if this can be coded is of interest to me. In talking with other players my idea for combining items was as follows:

 

two different items yields a random item

 

Shoe + Hat = Belt

 

two similar items yields a similar item

 

Shoe A + Shoe B = Shoe C

 

two identical items yields the same

 

Shoe X + Shoe X = Shoe X

 

This way for those who use the sewing machine to gain a specific item appearance, they can continue having that same fashion on their game avatar. While being able to combine the additional SP values. 

 

Another player expressed wanting  the ability to trade two epic items for a gold item. I agree this is of value and of use. However, for me, that value is going to be less than that of others. I get 2 or 3 gold items a day just from streaming. Not to mention those from the dickstarter, spending 300 energy or 20 duels. Especially now that the frequency of energy rewards has been reduced.

like the idea to get better items from old

but sure should not crash the balance

my wedding-ring is very old would be nice to refresh it

and some other uniques

so the item should not be changed only get better a bit of course not over the actual level i have
