Hi!

 

So, for example, if I were the boss of a studio and I left it, what would happen to the studio? Would it disappear immediately and the members become studio-less?

 

Also, is the boss of a studio allowed to leave his studio in the first place?

If a boss leaves, another (I guess random) producer would be assigned as boss. Only if the last and only member leaves the studio, then the studio would disappear.

 

As for that other question, a boss is free to decide wether he/she want's to leave his own studio behind or stay leading their people.

From my experience.

 

The boss can select a new Boss and leave that person in charge. We merged with a second studio and this is how that boss handled his stepping down.

 

If the boss is inactive for 3 weeks (no log in). A vote of the active membership can remove the current boss and elect a new boss. This is how I became the boss of Phoneix Rising.

 

I imagine that if a boss left without leaving someone in charge that an election of the current membership would ensue.

Thanks for sharing! A merger sounds interesting indeed, and is something to consider!    I wonder if BBE developers will consider allowing 2 bosses. An idea eh?

Me and one of my producers (the ex-boss) want the same thing.

 

The merger was one of the best things that happened to our studio. We were a highly ranked studio with too many members that had quit playing, including our founder and boss. They had a vibrant studio with very active players. It was a perfect match. We transitioned 15 players over a period of 2 weeks. They got into a fully kitted studio in the top 15 studios, we filled out our membership without dropping too much.

 

We reached a great goal today, due to this and are holding 3 trophies at the same time.

If a boss leaves a studio that's already empty (i.e. no members left except the boss), is there any way to transfer the studio's resources out to another studio? Or does everything just vanish?

 

It would be a waste if all the money and diamonds spent on that studio just disappear along with the studio.

Yep everything is lost from the studio. Agree it does suck that the boss can't pull out the cash and diamonds before leaving but makes sense so no one can steal them when in a larger studio.

you could always hold the studio and recruit a new leader, who can recruit a new team...

Not sure if it was mentioned above but the boss can't leave unless all member have left or been kicked. I would do what Angelica suggested and find someone that will take over the studio.

Oh, it  wasn't mentioned I think; I didn't know that. Thanks for that tip! I guess the easiest way would be to transfer boss status to another player.
