I support the concept of either no points or everyone getting first place.  Either solution is fine by me.

 

I didn't have any issue whatsoever with them changing from silk sheets to conventions, as I mentioned above.  The outrage was interesting to say the least and the claims that the forum's credibility is destroyed were hyperbolic.

 

That said, switching mid Temple, perhaps even due to the outrage here, was a mistake.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in this game, and probably in ANY game I've ever played. It's bad enough that the temple was changed after it already started BUT to leave the leaderboard as is? Whats the point in even participating now? The temple is over before it even began. 

 

BBE should have just left the convention temple alone instead of royally screwing things up with an asinine move like this. If they're blaming an outage for this move, then fix your damned game.

Wow, you actually guessed what I was mentioning in my studio.   Random daily temples for the rest of the week.  Completely fubar-ed this week, so what's the difference.

 

DParadise, any thoughts on my rewards suggestion since this week is completely screwed up and no fair to anyone?

Didn't think it was technically possible to screw up a temple this bad mid-stream either.   I really hope you can come up with a solution that doesn't alienate your user base even more.

 

Just resetting the points and having a 4 day temple doesn't seem like a good, or acceptable, solution.

 

People have already spent diamonds on Conventions, used up energy vouchers that could have been saved etc.

 

Sorry, but this has definitely been one of the worst jobs the devs have ever done.

I don't believe that would even be technically possible, I do hope they will reset the points though.

Interesting question, Kitekat. If studios normally don't run that booster they should get their diamonds back. And since they will have the advantages of the booster, it's only fair to also give the diamonds back to studios who do normally run the booster, since it's not fair if they have to pay for something others get for free.

 

Edit: Thinking about it, it's also not fair for studios who didn't buy the booster to not have the advantages, if others get it for free. So it's probably best they simply give every studio 499 diamonds, so they're reimbursed if they did buy a booster and have the option to buy it if they haven't.

As for conventions go, I always thought 2 hour cons were easily the worst thing in the game. However today they topped it. Not only did I have to do 2 hours of a con, which ended in failure, afterwards I also had to find out part of that effort went to waste because at some point the temple got changed. So please, stop the madness of the 2 hour con. I would prefer a max of 1 hour, but even 90 minutes would be a big improvement over the current situation.

 

PLEASE, STOP 2 HOUR CONVENTIONS!
