Compound that with most being 90 minutes or 2 hours and it is not worth anyone's time.  I'd rather use my available energy and enjoy the reset missions while we still have them.

 

And I agree with the previous posts, right off the top of my head, I could come up with reasonable goals for a Convention although 2hr ones should be banned.

Playata completely fails here, again and again and again. I expect the board of directors to reach the only sensible conclusion, they need to resign and be replaced with people actually capable of running this game and returning the fun for the players, their customers.

Another failed con! Over 9m target on another 90 minute con.

So the Easter event says that I need to participate in five Easter Conventions. "Participate"

I have now participated in every single convention between roughly 7am and midnight, and you know what? I've not managed to complete the event.

What am I meant to do? There is no way I could complete this event without getting up to do it in the middle of the night. There's nothing else I could have done either. My (lack of) success and failure was entirely in the hands of thousands of other players.

This is so incredibly frustrating and infuriating. I've done dozens of hours of conventions this week, the most mind numbingly boring, repetitive element of the game, coming straight after a week of conventions for the temple, and it's been to no avail, Easter event failed, no reward collected.

Congrats Playata you succeeded in making me waste 53 diamonds (58 - 5 for the reward) to finish what should have been a fun event but instead was a painful reminder to us all that Conventions - SUCK, SUCK, and really SUCK!

Yes, I normally really look forward to these seasonal events, but they managed to reduce this one to an infuriating and frustrating experience. I don't think there was a successful convention in the last few days, despite us having three a day. What a complete shambles!

On a completely different subject, has Playata fixed a html5 version for the nutaku server already?

Yes, thanks for the update. And if they don't feel comfortable changing it in just taking part of 5 conventions, since it means people can just do 5 shows and be done already, it might be an option to change it into something like doing 50 shows? That means people need to show some effort dealing with the conventions, but they aren't punished for failing conventions, since that's completely out of individual player's hands.

That sounds like a great suggestion Kinzie. They clearly already track how many shows we participate in for the success
