The scaling on these conventions is horrible. I open a convention, and if it says 6M or more visitors, I don't even bother. That convention is going to fail...  But that's the vast majority of the conventions!!

Maybe it's just me, but I would think conventions would be a fun event for the players, and a moneymaking venture for the developers - IF AND ONLY IF they are scaled properly.

At present on nu1, conventions are merely one-time diamond traps.  A newbie will get in, spend diamonds on a fair number of shows, and then get shut out.  They get frustrated - and like me, stop attending conventions.

Nutaku!!!!!  Get your crap together, and adjust your convention requirements to reasonable numbers!

If Nutaku stupidly runs another Temple for conventions missions before fixing this, you may have a full scale revolt.

Yeah, the conventions here are a joke: either pie-in-the-sky impossible or (usually just after the refresh) ludicrously easy and reach their goals in 10 minutes or so. Just a couple of months ago they were reasonable propositions, but not any more. It's all extremes, and just no fun anymore. I only participate to work towards the success anymore. A few shows, and then back to the regular missions.

It's a shame to lose this aspect of the game.

If you'd like to give feedback to Nutaku you will need to do so through creating a support ticket. We are not directly affiliated with Nutaku. You're welcome to post it here but they do not monitor these forums.

Ah, sorry to bother the folks here, then.

Unfortunately, while it is not your fault, Becky - that is like telling us to go piss up a rope. Nutaku has NEVER responded to a support ticket regarding this game, other than by trying to get me to buy discounted Nutaku gold.

I am sorry you are having issues. I know how frustrating it is. What I

can do is pass this along to those that can make sure your feedback is heard.

I made a ticket, not regarding this, but regarding the infinite refills now possible on the nutaku server (CaptC already made a post about this so need to double post), and this is the response I got:

Support ticket content removed

A Catch 22

We never never post the contents of a support ticket.  :o  I removed it and I know you didn't know.

Everyone just be aware posting all or portions of a support ticket response can cause your forum account to be suspended. This is due to legal and privacy issues.

Stoney, I know exactly what you were saying about the catch 22 and I will follow up on it and make sure the feedback and suggestions are known. :D

You actually got a reply from Nutaku, Stoney? or was your reply from UK on their forum/support system?  Nutaku just deletes my tickets without even bothering to acknowledge they got them.

Every ticket.

Every time.

I've sent in at least a dozen tickets over the last nine months. My history shows NOTHING.

Their BILLING support always replies, if you submit to billing, but they just tell you they have nothing to do with the game, just payments, so they can't help you.

I always get responses. At the beginning I didn´t realize that you have to follow the link in the email and look from there. I was expecting to get an email reply but then realized you have to manually check. I don´t open tickets often, but all 3 of the tickets I opened were answered, and generally in a timely manner. Other members of my team who have opened tickets have also received answers.

I´m not sure if you are connecting from the game in the same manner, so its hard to troubleshoot I know there are options of playing at least the Playata servers via Facebook and Steam, but I´ve always connected directly from the site and have had no problems. I connect directly via the nutaku URL and open the tickets from the game menu at the bottom right at the Support link.

Ah OK, I left the name of the supporter that responded out of the quote and thought that would be OK. I know now :)

I had hoped that the New Year would bring about a more reasonable set of convention goals. So much for that theory! As has been previously stated, the Nutaku server can handle about 2 million per hour. So what do we get today? 3.6 million in an hour!  I doubt if it will draw enough enthusiasm to get even a third of that. So many people have just plain given up on them that I doubt if we could manage to do even 2 million anymore. PLEASE RE-ASSESS YOUR CONVENTION GOALS!! As it is conventions are no longer a viable part of the game, which is a shame.

You beat me to it.  I clicked on the first mission without looking. One of my studio mates mentioned the requirements.  I cancelled the mission and went back to doing something productive.

To be blunt, convention requirements on Nutaku are full of sh*t.  Mental ex-lax is required for whoever is designing these.

If you want to save conventions, get people back to trying them again, there will have to be a couple of weeks of super easy conventions. That will attract people back to trying them again, and it is possible to recover interest.

Until then, these continue to be useless frustrations.  Another temple built on top of this travesty will be very hard to take.

Well, we can get a little gallows humor out of this situation by seeing who can report the stupid numbers first...  LOL

There is actually a US queue for tickets!

And it has NU1 as a supported server!

Holding my breath, I submitted a criticism of the convention requirements as a ticket - and it took it!

If you also find this situation aggravating, I suggest dropping more criticisms in the ticket queue!

Glad to see you are getting that offered now, I was really scratching my head a few weeks back when you mentioned not having the US servers as an option.
