Other than having the convention times listed for Temple and other special events, where a completion is needed, there doesn't seem to be any way of know when an upcoming time is going to occur.
 

This needs to be fixed somehow and there should be a list of times.
 

I haven't seen a regular convention since the neeeded christmas event and yet I keep getting one listed in my weekly Dickstarter, to which I fail to achieve.

Having times always listed, would allow people to allocate when they pop into the game, instead of some randomness.

P.s. I haven't gone through all the forum posts, so if there is a way to always know the upcoming times, please let me know where it is. Cheers.

I've lost track of the times I've logged in only to get a "Convention!" notice, followed immediately by a "Convention Over." message. If they can publish the times for conventions during Temple and special events, surely they can publish the times for conventions during normal play without breaking the system...except on NU1, where looking at the screen cross-eyed can break something in the game! Just a listing of the conventions for a game day, updated at refresh, shouldn't be too difficult.

I have been of two minds about listing convention times. I certainly understand the inconvenience of not knowing times and dates. I think listing convention times, when they are part of a larger holiday event that requires a successful convention, makes perfect sense.

 

On the other hand, I have played on a server that was hostage to a single player with an apparently unlimited budget. He would buy EVERY SINGLE CONVENTION. Only if he was not playing, could somebody else win a convention. It just gets worse if a player like that has a schedule in advance.
