The same thing happened on US2. In all past events the tasks that did not include the word "Successful" gave credit whether the con was successful or not. Why the sudden change? Especially when you need 4! And when cons (especially on NU1) keep having such astronomical goals!

Holiday events have always required the conventions to be successful. Despite the wording, participation in a failed convention does not count.
We have noted the problem to development and will try to get the messages to be clearer about this requirement.

well with 1,5 hours done of the 2 hour con we're at just around 9.5mil visitors. About what we normally are for a temple mission con. They tend to finish in the 12-14Mil range from what I unreliably notice. It's what I recall anyway. The goal is TWICE that. I missed the first one but my studio mates tell me it was about as bad.
The Christmas cons we needed 3, which I got out of 7 or 8 cons, but while they seemed unreasonably high, I don't recall them being this bad.

Thanks Cap,
At least we know that Playata made that mistake years ago, and they refused to fix it ever since. Even though, it would have only taken a few minutes (maybe half an hour) to do so.
By the way, interesting fact. Another convention started at Nutaku. This one is two hours long.
And it requires 30 million fans.
Here is a picture of it for future reference:

I think I speak in name of my entire studio: Good job, idiots!
For me, this was the last drop in the glass.
Your company can no longer can be considered customer friendly. All the customer-friendly things, that you implemented in the last few weeks, and now THIS !?!?!?!?!
I can only speak for myself, but you just lost a paying customer. Congrats!
Oh and happy Easter for you all!

11.4 mil on 12K shows in two hours. About what we normally get I believe.
Now I will admit the first con of the temple challenge was ridiculously easy at 2mil for 90 min.

Sorry but that is not really nice. So hard convention goals and than no new cloth ??? I was thinking, maybe they will go the easy road again and put in stupid new colors from old cloth but nothing new and than so difficult ? 1 year time to make new easter outfits. sorry but really disappointing.

Well the Meter was full on both of my Conventions... normally this means it's a succes because, you got enough points.
But weirdly both were a Failure and not a single point was given for the Event.
It feels like they are testing some Things in real time at a Event. That makes me sad.

It makes me sad to see so much nice girls with disappointed faces. In my studio i saw them chatting happily about how the new easter outfit would look like. Now seeing them sad because of the difficult level from this easter conventions is not good. And that there is no new outfit or color for old outfits for all those beautiful girls is a bad thing to do, yes it is really disappointing. Now reading their sadly chat in the studio and in the forum makes my heart sad. Come on BBE-Team. It is the easter feast not an unimportant day. For such days it would be polite to present something new. Please think about all the players, a lot are buying diamonds too. And more important, think about the feelings of all the nice girls, without them the game would die. Sorry for my long post but i had to say that.

I didn't see a full meter on NU1 for the last one, it was about where it should have been given the numbers. A barley missed con might look full even though it is just a little short.
This last one on NU1 was 8.7mil in 90 mins. An achievable goal. FInished with 10.7Mil on 10.5k shows. About the same visiter/show ratio as the last one. I wonder how much a factor is the time of day and motivation for the non-temple point players to have something that had a chance to succeed?

Well it looks like that first 30mil one was an anomaly or bug. As every con since then has been reasonable and achieved on NU1. My apologies for assuming intent instead of error.
Hanlon's Razor probably applies: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by human stupidity."
