25.04. - 01.05.2019 Boss missions @ parties 

 

New temple!

 

2 points for each completed boss mission at a party (expected, but 5 or higher is more likely)

 

So.  Am I missing something?  Is there a way to get more than one party a day?  I mean unlike the new 3-star movies temple a few weeks ago that some people could make more than 3 per day, there is only one party right? 

 

I'm sure this has been discussed by those putting this idea together.  Can anyone shed some light on how point spreads are expected to play out?

Or spend to extend if they run out of time either.

 

Maybe give points for all missions with the bosses being 2x/3x more?  Like 2 for normal 5 for boss.

 

This is the first one I can recall that low level players might not get to participate in at all if they haven't unlocked the first Burning Bernie.

Never mind about the points for all thing.   I see that there is already a party mission temple, so this is just a "lighter" version of that one.

Yes, I believe it is just a lighter version of the existing party temple. I did make a suggestion for a new temple type that would be terrific for smaller players and studios, whether they will do it, who knows. As for this one..you can only obtain 1 party ticket per day.

 

I miss the days when we could do two or three parties per day, but in those days, parties gave no skill points. There was more of a random element back then, so it made the event more interesting. Now, we're all basically hard capped on the maximum amount of points we can get in that upcoming event, plus a certain tactic that I almost always forget to ever do, but even then, the folks who do it will still run into a hard cap in maximum points that can be attained during the event.

 

It's not a very creative addition to the temple roster, it's actually straight up boring, BUT for a week we can all use our energy on whatever missions/successes we want, so there's the upside.

It is indeed, just like the movie one. Start the party before reset, but don't do any missions until after reset.  Gets you an extra party's worth of points.

As advertised, it's points for party BOSSES, so you can start your party and do the first 2 tasks before reset and still get max extra points. A minor detail, I know, but I had to put in my two cents.

Oh good point.  Then maybe they should change it to the per mission point thing I mentioned.

I don't think this is a replacement for the old party temple (at least I hope not!), just a variant to spice things up. Just what I need at my age: a new wrinkle!

But is it new?  If the previous one was areas cleared, and to clear an area you have to defeat the boss, then as Mountbara said it's the same thing.  Just a new artwork and lead in story.

The old one was 25 pts per mission, 12 missions per party, 300pts per party. This one is 2 pts per boss, 3 bosses per party, 6 pts per party. It is the same general task, just a different scoring system. They could keep both temples, it'd just be a different method of scoring.

 

This is going to screw over the really small studios. At a max of 48 pts per week (assuming you remember to start a party just before reset) a studio needs an absolute minimum of 3 active members to get on the board, so no free studio diamonds for the tiny studios. Of course an awful lot of people are going to be tied for first in the individual stats. Kinda like when the BBA are broken for a week or more.

I agree with Lizbeth

The times when they went to make 2-3 parties a day were more interesting

 

so it is just like a movie temple, interesting only the first day then quite boring

I'm happy for those of you who got 2 or 3 party tickets a day in the past. As for me, I used to dread party temples. I never got more than 4 party tickets during those weeks. I guess somebody has to be at the other end of the curve. So forgive me if I can't get all nostalgic.

Ok so it is per mission before.  This was about when I started playing so I didn't see it in game.

 

I'm all for giving it a chance.  I was just curious what the projected ranking was thought to be when they designed it.

 

Or it could be to encourage or introduce an area of the game that doesn't see much action.

So an outcome of this temple is for those of use that needed it and were prepared to get it, was a realitvly easy 1st place solo acheesement.  Thank you!
