With today's update there was a replacement  inscription, for icon......for vote... for your studio

I think it's a bad step, the icon is worse visible

Unfortunately it seems they opted to not fix the studio chat this time, a chat that has quickly become almost un-usable since it insists on jumping around all over the place and cause the whole game to freeze periodically.  Which had caused our already quiet little studio to almost abandon it in favor of 3rd party chat options.  Yes, some effort does seem to have been made to fix it, since it initially also made double posts of your messages, but the chat related update and what it did to the chat still linger on.

They have replaced the text with an icon, because they are reporting other different types of information there. Rather than a wall of text, you get a series of icons. The other icon I have seen is a notification of a custom title.

I've never seen the studio movie, we're not big enough for that to likely happen.  I have seen the custom title icon though. And like it.

I tend to vote for movies that at least appear to have thought placed in them.

Although on our server, the vote is just a farce

Players one studio are still buying votes, and almost every week they occupy most of the TOP 10

I got 47 votes on one of my movies.  I was proud of it.  Maybe I'll figure out how to screen shot it and post it here.

LOL, I am sorry, I found this amusing.

 

It is VERY EASY to mistake dedicated studio effort on the BBAs, as being the result of diamonds. Just saying. My studios have been accused multiple times of buying BBAs, when in fact we very rarely expend many diamonds that way.

Like most of the competitions, the advanced studios have a serious advantage.  Not only in numbers (30 people earning points compared to 6), but in other areas as well. 

 

Specifically in BBA, a solo star has no support.  A non-elite studio has the chance of voting for a studio member's film.  (I've never run across a fellow members movie in voting, but I have seen multiple movies more than once.)  Elite studios, not only have trophies that allow them to make more movies per day, which increases the chances a movie gets seen in the voting, but can conceivably collude to make one or more of their members win or are at the top.

 

Not a pay-to-win scenario at all.

I agree with CaptC and Tabithia

On our Server was a player who also played in our studio.

he was always the best player in the temple

he won the BBA quite often, he praised he voted for his film 30 times a week

about two times I was verbally fighting with him and I wanted to leave the studio

Eventually he left, and set up a studio where he invited players from a similar style of play

when his studio was strong enough, he started to control again, BBA

when he finished at the end of last year, several players went to another studio where they practiced the same style and controlled the BBA

 

it's just reality

Capt, for a period of about a year, it was bought on US2 almost every week. No biggie, part of the game.

i still pretty sure the RNG works bad  and they not really do a good work in work around this insufficienve
