I know there is another question I made like this but I wanted to make a poll so please don't flame me for it.
(POLL) Do you think that The Sensual Room Scents should give off decorations or items more often?

For me decoration.
There is no sense to make all new things to get items.
Top players, who wants items, already have completed decos with diamonds and I think already get items more often. This is another reason for playstation to keep decos more often: if you want items you have to spend diamonds

Optimally, the optimal way to have it would be to present the player with a choice every time. Short of that, decorations only until the player has them all and then items until more decorations are added.
The gear is coming up way too often IMO. I have no interest in more epics. I get plenty in other ways. I love the apartments and collecting deco for them. It's frustrating to spend hours saving up for a box just to have it contain some epic I probably already have the pattern for.

To get an accurate view of how *everyone* feels, the third option should be on there. Otherwise you are only asking those who want a change and ignoring those of us who are simply happy the way it is.
hi again who want no change should vote against the leading
btw it looks like you can delete your vote

From a studio exchange a few hours ago:
02:24 p.m. Redacted: ugggh Ive gotten items in the last 4 boxes Ive opened ffs
02:29 p.m. Lizbeth: Hence my forum post on the issue.
I wiped out their name to protect their privacy, but you can see, the drop rate of items in deco boxes is too high and isn't sitting well with some folks. Some of you are so jaded as to be indifferent, but more of us, not so thrilled.
As I stated earlier, I'd assume not have them within deco boxes at ALL, but if you're going to do it, make the drop rate of items much lower. Otherwise, as it stands now, it feels like each time I open a mystery box, I'm being promised a random smut mag, and instead I'm getting a two year old edition of Better Homes and Garden. You try getting your jollies off to images of throw pillows, pottery, and fruit baskets!

Onestly, I have opened 9 boxes til now, and I found just one item.
The truth is that we don't know if boxes gives more items than decos now, and if there is really something to change.
Could be only luck for me.
It would be a nice idea to have separated boxes for items and decos, so we could choose which one we want to open.

When you hover on the box, where you buy it, it says "A box with a random decoration." To me, that means it should contain that for sure, no matter what else they decide to put in there. If they want to clean out all their broom closets and the entire attic and dump on me, that's fine. I'll sell it all but if it says it has a decoration, there should be one in there. I want my stuff! Where's my stuff, dangit!

I think it's just a case of RNGesus throwing his weight around. I've opened 6 boxes and only received 2 items, so I guess that colors my view on the issue. Looking further down the road, I'd rather get an item than a duplicate decoration. And once you've got all the decorations you're gonna want to get SOMETHING for your scents.
I do like the idea of getting to choose between a decoration and an item. That would solve the problem. Just so long as it doesn't screw up the delicate balance that holds the BBAs together.

I think this game would benefit greatly if it allowed players to trade/buy items from each other.Started by 20886432 , 15 Nov 2019 suggestion, idea, equipment, item and 6 more... |
