I am wondering because some seem to stomp me while having little glory sometimes... but sometimes I get a bunch of glory and win easily.
What is the equation for how much glory you get from a duel?

I don't know the equation per se, as I have never bothered to figure it out exactly. It is similar to the way glory is calculated for studio fights.
The amount gained or lost is based on glory totals -- so far as I know, level and skills total do not matter. The closer your glory total is to your opponent, the more there is at risk. And the winner of a duel gets 25% more glory than the loser loses.
