How many times must the BBA break before you get your updates to the game done correctly?  This is pathetic.  Any other programmers with this many epic failures would have been canned by now.  Please fix the BBA voting system ASAP as this is the 3rd major failure in less than a year.

I heard this was reported earlier in the day to the dev team.  Seems to be happening on NU1 server only.

 

I don't play on your server, so if you hear it's back to its robust voting self, just let us know here.

Just to give you an idea of the severity, Tara:

 

A fair number of the special events break the BBA, Tara.  Almost certainly due to some interaction with the special events and the Nutaku shell, so it won't be seen elsewhere.

 

It is a major league annoyance to anyone who takes a mission with a movie ballot.  The attempt to vote fails, puts up an error message that you have to click to make go away.  And then EVERY SINGLE MISSION after that will try to let you vote, will fail, and will put that same error message up.  Worse, it checks to see if you should vote twice, once before the mission starts, and once when it finishes.

 

If you avoid taking movie ballot missions, you can avoid the bug.  But... practically impossible.  It's way too easy to forget, and then you are stuck with the bug.

 

In a temple for dueling, not so bad...  You just pick longer missions, so you have to click less often.  But in a Temple that encourages fast missions, like a party temple or an item collection temple, you are just stuck making an extra couple of clicks every two or three minutes.

 

The problem doesn't usually go away after just one week of misery.  It usually takes two cycles of the BBA to fix the problem... and those of us that play on Nutaku are dreading two weeks of painful extra clicks while trying to spend our energy.

 

Been there, done that, want to burn the T-shirt.  I am an ex-programmer, Wuffy does some programming, and we sympathize with difficult to find bugs.  But... the problem was fixed quickly last time, with minimal disruption.  We had hopes it was finally vanquished.  It's recurrence is a particularly nasty turd in the punch bowl.

This is what I meant... they fixed it quickly this time, too.  But would be much better if NEXT time, it works smoothly from the beginning.

I have heard that problem reported by other studio members. I think it is a bug. I encouraged my studiomates to post a bug report, and suggest you do the same, Mountbara.

if it was on the us2 server where I have actually spent money to play, i would. It's simply an annoyance on nu, no free diamonds

On UK1, Diamond payouts stop around 250 rank.  Experience and Skill points end at 500.

 

Are you saying your movie cover didn't rank for a diamond payout, or didn't rank at all? ...

I am a paying player and I don't have in any case any chance to get a gut placement in the BBA anyway...

It does sound like a bug, if you made a movie, and it didn't show ANYWHERE in the rankings...

 

We can't have BBA movie submissions disappearing like that.

 

 

I understand that server-game is not as important to you, but I would still report it as a bug, if anything, for Quality Control of the game.

 

 

To OPEN a ticket to report this bug, click on this link and then select OPEN NEW TICKET on the left side of the page.  Give the support team as much info as you can and then submit.

 

IF ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS SAME ISSUE, please do the same by opening a new ticket - the more accounts seen with the problem, the more likely the problem gets resolved.

Absolutely ridiculous.   How can this possibly happen again? This time it is even more personal as I had a movie in the top of the rankings and spent a lot of my time (as well as my studio mates) ,diamonds and mission choices to give it a chance at winning.   Please fix this issue ASAP.

Hello everyone, since this problem is happening quite often I have decided to write a few words.

 

First of all thank you CAPTC for helping everyone on this matter and keeping things pretty clear.

 

So, we are already trying to find a way to solve this issue but unfortunately it is more related with our partner , Nutaku, than with our own servers or services.

 

We know you guys have nothing to do with that and don't even care about "what is causing" the problem, just want it fixed Thus, I'm here just to make sure you are updated about this matter and to show you once again that - we DO care - about what is going on.

 

We will try to debug this from top to bottom and try to improve the services for Nutaku players in the best way.

 

 

We thank you for your understanding on this matter, and be sure we are here to help
