Has support addressed or answered why we only get 83 days to complete the current season?
It is hard enough for players to just barely finish the season. Even with an event during the season adding some much needed extra points we can only complete it with a few days to spare but starting with 83 days instead of 90 makes it even harder.

Since we haven't got an answer on this let me toss out my guess on this.
Someone in the programming department dropped the ball on this. Totally forgot to start the new Season. Finally remembered a week late, started the Season mid-day for everyone and as a result all players of BBE lost 7 days of time in the Season.
Mistakes are made, I understand, but everyone playing should not be penalized for it.

but then they won't get the extra diamonds spent by people wanting to finish it 
I am not even buying the pass this time, I see how much they care about us, I am returning the amount of care in return.

Apparently Mountbara and I are correct since we haven't haven't been informed otherwise. Thanks, BBE for once again ignoring your players' well-being in the game.
A simple apology and a little extra free gold or diamonds would have went a long way.

Doesn't really answer my initial question though. Why are we penalized for a mistake or is a 90-day Season just a random number or a whim of the programming team? I believe other than the very first Season, they have all been 90-day Seasons until this screw-up.
I'd love to give more feedback on the game but we have tried and tried and tried but everything we mention or suggest falls on deaf ears.
p.s. Still looking for a prompt before using large amounts of diamonds on a single accidental click.
