The following changes were made today (2022-12-06):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
New features
General
• New Lucky Pyramids with new hot items are soon available! Keep your eyes open - nobody can resist those hot rewards!
 
Maintenance
General
• The volume of background sounds and effect sounds can now be adjusted separately.
• The maximum value for coins and experience points has been raised.
• If notifications were disabled in the sound options, the background sound was disabled as well. This problem has been fixed.
• When making changes, the character will now not disappear and reappear, but will be updated directly instead.
 
Mobile
• In the mobile version it was possible that background sounds were not correctly repeated. This problem has been fixed.
• The buttons on the lower left and right have been placed slightly more towards the middle.

Question, "maximum value for coins" has been raised", does this mean NOTES, and if so, can we now go beyond 2,147,483,647 notes saved without it resetting back to that limit?

Ok, I guess I will have to guess what in the world the notes really mean.   I just hope I can find a whole pile of "coins" and then see what happens. 

 

p.s.  2nd Con temple in a 3 week period is not the proper Xmas spirit but I should have guessed it was coming since the BBE Grinch has done this before in the month of December.

Can you please clarify what is meant by the second bullet point under Maintenance? Is this a misnomer for notes, since BBE uses notes and this is not Hero Zero?

The easy part of the question is "what are coins?". Can you at least tell us it was a mistake and meant to be notes. We understand that hero zero and big bang empire share devs and mistakes like this happen.

It has now been 9 days since I asked what I thought was a simple question for clarification on the update notes that were sent to everyone.

 

If the powers that be cannot explain their own words in an update to the game, why bother sending this to everyone or making this thread to talk about the updates.

 

Otherwise it is just me and Mountbara chatting with each other.

hi,

note storage limit has not been changed. Its value is 2,147,483,647, the maximum value for a 32-bit system (2^31).

To increase this value, there is only one method: switch to a 64-bit system.
Like you, I also don't understand what "coins" means, and I hope for an answer.

Playing on both hero zero and BBE, I am almost (but not quite) certain this refers to hero zero currency, coins. Since most admins are on both sites, they simple forgot which they were posting for. But verification would be nice.

I currently have 2,151,196,826 and steadily going up.   Is it too much to ask for an answer to my original question for clarity to the update notes?

 

If the notes (not coins) limit has been raised, any idea what the new limit is as I had thought we were stuck with the 32-bit limit for totals in this game.

Yes it means NOTES and apparently the new limit is over 9.000.000.000 and it's gonna stay that way.

I think "coins" is just another term for notes. Someone already wrote in another forum that the current limit of notes is 9,223,372,036.

My unofficial guess for the new limit is 4,295,967,295.   I am attempting to get an official answer from support via a support ticket.

That is not a moderator or an admin, just another user guessing. We need a moderator or an admin to tell us definitively what the answer is. I appreciate your trying, but since we can not look at the coding as users, it is just guesswork.
