Similar to the movie energy replenish, a button that asks "Are you sure you want to use 'X' diamonds?" with  yes or no confirmation buttons.

 

i'm getting tired of having diamonds used when i accidentally click on the wrong button or my mouse lags a second scrolling to the right button but clicks on the wrong one. i just wasted 50 diamonds to refill my mission energy when i could have spent notes instead.

 

i'm positive i'm not the only one this happens to and would be very appreciative of having a confirm screen pop up.

We have been requesting that for literally years. I hope you get a better response. I misclicked 2000 diamonds on streaming, I feel your pain.

You should never lose hope While were at it, my personal preference would be a "Dont spend diamonds"-checkbox somewhere just to make sure, you dont when you dont want to. That could also trigger a confirmation dialog whenever youre about to spend them, i.e. "Confirm before spending (hard earned, expensive) diamonds".

 

Since no one wants to spend diamonds they played for accidentally, just as much as when you bought them for cash!

 

Or even make it a slider: "Ask for diamonds spending confirmation: Never - Sometimes (as it is now) - Always"

I suggest always having a separate button for spending diamonds, and move it further away from the regular button.  E.g., "use diamonds" icon is at the top of screen, while "use notes" or "wait" icon is at the bottom.

That doesnt really make sense in all the cases where spending diamonds is the only option - like the duel skip, energy refill (300+), movie energy refill for example.

 

Also the streaming rooms that mountbara mentioned are a very painful misclick, whereever the button may be. 3000 diamonds gone without intension is just devastating.

Ditto Mount. I still have the crease in my forehead from banging my face into the keyboard for that 1.
