as we all develop in the game and things get repetitive, its nice to keep in touch with studio members. the more messages in the chat, the harder it becomes to follow while playing. always having to click the studio icon to read messages or reply can be cumbersome.
could you simplify chat by making it detachable as a separate window or show/leave it as an option below or next to the overview window?

here a mockup of the option integrated below. the sides are another option or simply a hovering window always on top.

That's awesome, the suggestion has been added to the devs. Not entirely sure if it would work on html5 or flash, but that's for the devs to find out 
I do believe in php(bb) it is possible, so I don't see why nut in html.
