This isn't a gripe with Star Missions themselves, I'm just getting frustrated at seeing them bundled with other aspects of the game. For example, I've had 2 Party Tickets offered alongside Star Missions; neither were missions that I would've played to "endorse" the author due to the poor quality but I felt forced to because hey, Party Ticket!

I've never seen a Party Ticket tied to another special mission before this. The closest is when you have a Dickstarter or a Temple that is the same type, but the dual aspect is purely coincidental. It's never an achievement one or an item or a vote or anything until now.

It's even affecting other choices too. Today my Dickstarter involves voting for 10 movies. I've played all 9 ballots I've found so far and 6 of them were Star Missions. Some I was happy playing because they were good enough, but a couple I would've skipped to avoid "voting" for them (not as bad as either Party Ticket offering to be fair). This is the third or fourth time I've been playing Star Missions just to complete those tasks.

I'm not unhappy about Star Missions in themselves, but I am starting to resent the way I feel the game is forcing me to vote for individual ones. At least with movie voting we get 2 to pick from and can generally find something we're happy to support, or re-roll for more choices, but offering something as rare as a Party Ticket alongside these missions feels unfair and makes a mockery of the idea that people are selecting them freely.

I hope in future iterations there's serious thought given to ensuring that Star Missions remain free from these additional incentives, especially ones so loaded to essentially eliminate choice in (not) selecting them.

I'm a minor local politician IRL (pulling papers to run for an office today), among other pursuits. Why I'm behind a pseudonym… :)

I never thought of the political ramifications of playing Star Missions. Have wanted some external method to thumbs up/thumbs down on them, though (some of them are HORRIBLE).

Hope you do like my prose, though. Keep neglecting to write out a story about a fellow studio member and his harem… :)

Yes I have tried so far to wrote good ones, and it's a bit disheartening to see the terrible efforts (or rather, lack of effort) that many of them show.
