I've suddenly gained a 7 day 50% mission booster.

All I can think of is that it's connected with the Halloween short story prize, but that can't be right, because we were promised a 14 day 50% skills booster for that.

Anyone else?

Yes, I also suddenly gained the 7 day 50% mission booster and I wrote a Halloween short story too; I have to think it's related.

 

I really really would prefer the 14 day 50% skills booster. 

 

Cap - any info on this? I can open a support ticket if that is best...

I submitted a ticket to support. They came back and said that everything looks fine. Clearly they can't tell the difference between a mission booster and a skill booster.

I will later today, it is quite possible that the wrong prize was marked down for them to give. I was waiting to see more information.

Yes, I think the type of booster is clearly the point of contention. I just noticed that my 50% mission booster is now active for 2 weeks whereas when I first got it yesterday, it was only 1 week - so partially fixed, but still wrong booster. This is on NU1.

 

It does matter. The mission booster does not benefit the current and next temple but it is always a benefit to be stronger

We are aware of the problem (again.) A dirty little secret: rewarding booster prizes is a fussy manual process and it is easy for us to make mistakes.  We will keep trying, and we will get it right eventually. Please bear with us.

Same response from support, no problems here. mission booster 7 days, sp booster 14 days are same crap. drugs are bad.. Oh well reward is reward, and since they cba to talk about 2 days we lost on latest crash and 1 bewt attacking me 19 times for 1k glory is ok, this wont change. Enjoy doing more missions for same temple points, drugs are bad..

Mountbara attached a reply from support to a ticket It was fairly innocuous but we ask players to paraphrase instead of attaching direct quotes. (Don't blame me, blame GDPR.)

 

I will paraphrase from the ticket:  We know we have applied the wrong prizes. Please drop a ticket if you want it changed. (For some players who habitually buy all three boosters, the mission booster is essentially the same number of diamonds as a skill booster, and they don't seem to care much.)
