Up until recently I have barely gotten an achievement every other week (if that), but recently I get multiple achievements a day. Has anyone else noticed this?
Is it just me or have Achievements been easier to get as of late?

Most achievements are number based, taking anywhere from 5 -2000 to be able to complete. If you have opened up a new area of play, then you would be finishing more of them.

This could be your brain working as a pattern recognition filter. When random things pop up in clusters there's a rendancy to try to find a reason for it, when in fact that's just how random works. A good example is lottery numbers. Look at how often there'll be 2 numbers in sequence or very close. Interestingly it's also why the shuffle function on i-pods and the like isn't quite random. It has to be tweaked to avoid the same song playing twice in quick succession, or the same artist several times in a row.
Of course I could be completely wrong. If I'm not though, congratulations on having a functioning human brain
