I think we got about what we can reasonably expect to get in terms of changes/reductions to this event. Its pretty likely it was meant to be 5 days, to coincide with a convention temple, and in the last minute concessions, a couple mistakes were made. I look at it this way, we got a reprieve from another convention temple, and they did fix it so that all players have the possibility of completing the movie component, and that's 2 big wins to be thankful for.

 

If the trade-off is popping 10 diamonds for a single shop refresh, so be it, I think we take the wins and be happy LOL

Please understand that I'm like heinz ketchup, slow but good.

 

Anyway, I only just connected a pair of dots. One of the rewards (of the 5 individual components or stages) in completing the rainbow rally, rewards 10 diamonds. This effectively offsets the cost of paying 10 diamonds for that extra shop refresh to hit 5 total shop refreshes to complete the event. Yes, I know, one is then losing part of the rewards, but you still get all the bonus exp, skill points, and the skill points + item from final event completion.
