The following changes were deployed today (2017-12-12):

New Features

General

• New Successes for the area "Colorful Diversity" have been added.

• The new item pattern collection "Movie Star, Movie Star!" has been added, including a new title as a reward.

• The new film set "Hunting Lodge" had been added, including a fitting item set.

• A new item set, fitting to the "Whiplash" party has been added!

• The Hunting Instinct sometimes did not display the best mission. This has been fixed.

• Party tickets are now valid for 24 hours and don't disappear at midnight.

The last two changes are apparently in response to community requests.  I am happy to see improvements to the hunting instinct, and that party tickets last 24 hours, and survive over reset.

How does that even work? I got a couple from the Advent Calendar but never saw anything different.

I am told that I am wrong, that the hunting instinct still misses party tickets. I will check again next time I get a chance.  But I don't buy the thing, I only use it when I get it for free from casino and advent calendar

The changes are all positives to me. Some new items for whiplash, set items, successes for this long neglected zone, and of course, the 24 hour party ticket change obviates any concern I would have had. Sure, I would have maybe preferred 48, but 24 is a fair compromise.

 

If someone attains a ticket by any means, and cannot use it within 24 hours, either it's on them in some way, or something else more important came up IRL, such that I doubt they're concerning themselves with a party ticket in this game. 24 hours is ample time to use a party ticket and gives players enough grace period that if a server goes down, if they have to run out to the store, or just get pulled away for a spell, they have plenty of time to still use it.

 

So, I'll give this update two thumbs up with a snap

I agree! Not great changes but all positive ones.
