I want to find out what the quantity or percentages of covers that make the cut with each progressive day in the BBA voting period are.  It's a mystery I'd like to see become transparent.

 

I'm sure a clever person could take a snapshot of the in-week BBA leaderboard and see the covers no longer moving up the ladder.  For those rankings, those are the covers that are frozen in time until the current BBA week ends.

 

The only days I know for certain is TOP 100 final day, Sunday,  and beginning day Monday everyone is theoretically in it.

 

• BEGIN OF DAY 1 - MONDAY - Everyone is in it
• BEGIN OF DAY 2 - TUESDAY - Who knows ??
• BEGIN OF DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY - Who knows ??
• BEGIN OF DAY 4 - THURSDAY - Who knows ??
• BEGIN OF DAY 5 - FRIDAY - Who knows ??
• BEGIN OF DAY 6 - SATURDAY - Who knows?
• BEGIN OF DAY 7 (Final Day) Sunday - TOP 100

 

• For any given studio that has a single cover still standing on the final day, the chance that cover comes up for vote is 1 in 50.
• If a studio has 10 covers in the TOP 100 on FINAL DAY, the chance of that cover coming up for vote is 1 in 5.
• If they have all 30 members with covers in the TOP 100 (a rare feat I'm sure), the chance increases to 1 every 1.6 times.

 

Looking at the 1 in 5 ratio (10 in the Top 100), a diamond-spending studio would only have to try 4x to assuredly see one of their covers come up (on average).  1 vote can go along way in buying a champion.

i am talking about normal voting without diamonds

is my film this week so bad that it get  only a single vote and is out of the system already tuesday ?

what a shame for such a fine cover !

 

what i am talking  about the whole time is that on monday morning after  only some votes it is possible that some films alredy have several votes

 

and this system with cutting away the less voted films is another totally senseless act

ok so you want the ability to see every film and vote for the one you think is best. I am guessing one vote per player right? Sorry you are upset with me, I am just trying to find out what it is you want. It's a nice idea but since it takes revenue away from the BBE, I doubt it will ever happen. The logistics of trying to allow everyone to see all the entries would be server depleting. Right now, they don't have to show but 2, and any two, which is easier than trying to make sure we can see them all. The big bang awards are not about the best titles, or prettiest cover, it's about the bbe draining as many diamonds as they can from us. I like your idea, I just don't think they will do it

are you positive about top 100 and not top 50? There have been several times I was in like 76th place and never moved from there the final day

No, mountbara, not sure. It might be top 50. I have just heard top 100 for a while now.

You might be right... and if that is true, that means all those odds can be halved.  If it is only TOP-50, then instead of stated:

The more I read this, the more disillusioned I become about the whole BBA system. So, essentially, the whole thing is rigged to favor diamond-spenders, i.e. it's pay-to-win? Sheesh! Makes one wonder why put any effort at all into films in the first place...

Not rigged, set up so you can influence it with diamond purchase. Each day they cut the number of films you can vote for down, so it's not rigged, just set up so those who have the most votes continue getting votes.

I would not say rigged: simply unfair as the chances depend exculsively on belonging to studios that can have the trophies.
