So with the current Temple Quest being points earned for film energy used, I was wondering.  Towards the end of a film, sometimes, I like to get the film over with and done, so I end up selecting the film mission that yields the most reward just to get me over the required minimum.

 

With the temple quest now, it says 1 temple point for every film point used.  So, as a simple example, let's just take a 30 minute film for instance.  500 film points are required for a 3-star film.  Let's say I am at 450 film points right now and I have 3 film missions to do.  One will give me 35 film points, the other 48 film points, and the other 99 film points.  Disregard the film energy, but for the sake of this example, just say that I have enough energy to do any of them.  If I chose to do the one giving 99 points, would I get all 99 points as a Temple Reward?  Or, would it cap off immediately and only give me the 50 points since that is all that is needed to complete a 3 star film?

 

I'm wondering because in this scenario, wouldn't it be more worth the Temple Points to do the 35 point mission in hopes that another film mission might yield even more points, like say 112 or so?  Then again, if the temple points cap off at the same time that the 3 star film does, then it would be a waste of time to NOT get it over with and try the mission yielding 99 points right away.

 

I hope this all makes sense.  Any help would be appreciated.

i am pretty sure you  get all points you produce

so aim to 499 and make then 144

you'll get ALL points. so if you have 499 take one with more FP.

Thank you!  I'll aim for 499 or as close to it as possible, then go for more.
