Let me explain:

 

Personally, I think it would be fun to see a bit more creativity when I vote in the BBAs.  Because the amount of diamonds required to change the title of a film is so high, most people just resort to the default ones given over and over again.  Wouldn't it be more refreshing and allow for more of an opportunity to be motivated about creating unique films if the diamond price for customizing the title of your film yourself was lowered just a tad?  It doesn't have to be that much more either.  5 diamonds maybe.  I mean, I'd even pay 10 more often, but 19 everytime?  A bit too steep I think.  So, we end up voting on the same thing we see over and over and over again in the BBAs.  There are hardly any funny or unique titles.  I like to be creative and work on my films to make them look good and I like having the possibility of a good film being up there in ranking with the Big Bang Awards, but my motivation drops almost every time I see that 19 diamonds just to personalize your own film title.

 

I know they aren't trying to restrict certain words or phrases either.  That can't be the reason for having it cost 19 diamonds.  If it was, the big time diamond spenders would not be able to even change the name at all in the first place.

 

Just my opinion, but it would be nice if it was just a tad more reasonable to pick your own names of the films you create and it would make the game a lot more fun, I think.

Personally, I try to put out one title of my own each cycle of the BBAs. 19 diamonds a week isn't too steep a price to pay for a unique entry. Since hardly anybody sees the other 20 films for that week, I don't bother with them. And while the BBAs are being updated, I don't even bother.

 

What I wish was that it didn't cost you 19 diamonds to insert your name in those stupid "(Name)'s wild Ride" type titles. Those really chap my hide. Maybe a nominal fee of 1-2 diamonds (It REALLY should be free) to insert your name. Maybe free to put your name in, and 1-2 diamonds to put any other name into the space.

In the past it used to be 99 diamonds, so it was actually already lowered once. Every film used to also always be displayed in the BBA, but now there is only one feature film so you really should only be concentrating on doing that one really good cover and not really worrying about the other films you make. They only improve the chance of your feature film being given as a voting option for other players.

I still think the price is too steep.  I'm still pretty new to the game overall and I am collecting items, sometimes new ones, on a daily basis.  So, if I were to get a brand new item that I would really like to wear in one of my film covers, I'll do that.  Especially if I think that the item might help make a difference in the BBAs.  However, if I focused and used 19 diamonds earlier in the week on changing the title of a film that I thought was unique enough at the time, then I feel like it was a waste if I suddenly can't use that film.

 

I understand that it was lowered significantly already, but I still think it needs just a bit more.  I think if it was, we'd a get a ton more creativity with the films and more of a variety to vote on.  More users would be attracted to making films I believe than they are now.  The BBAs would become less of a weekly/daily craps shoot, and would probably garner more popularity overall.

 

Those are just my two cents....or should I say 2 diamonds?

I don't think Stoney was criticizing the idea, as much as saying the price had already been lowered once - and is somewhat unlikely to be lowered again. 

 

Aside from that, I'm all in favor of reducing the price.  

 

I am also in favor of changing the editing possibilities. I don't see why we are limited to editing it once, right as the film is made. You should be able to edit a cover up until the time it 'ships'.

Just think of the covers we could make if we could add more than one supporting actor and/or be able to position them were we want, the covers possibility would be endless.

Another favorite suggestion is being able to add other players in as supporting actors.

 

I imagine that one is difficult because I think you would have to grant consent for someone to use your likeness.

That could be done if there was an option to do like a Studio Film.  Kind of like the Studio Fight events, instead create a Studio Film event where the Studio gets together, submits a few things and the Boss and Producers put it together?  Just spitballin' here.

I totally, absolutely, naughtily and hornily agree!!!!  

I am sure that, if it costed less to create a personalized title, people would spend more on it!

And of course we would have lots of creative and fun proposals!!

Not that the random titles we get now are not fun!

omg!! can't stop laughing when I see that!  Only thing is missing to that title is a typo and then it would be complete!!  

 

2 diamonds per change would be a fair price, in my opinion.

 

I also have to say that I really envy those of you who are able to make ONE good title per week. I put the same effort, with poor results, on each of the films I make! Unfortunately I am not able to take a decision...being submissive is sometimes soooooooo difficult!

I have tried to put my own titles on the movies. I really think the price is too high!!!! But ok...

But then after the title I was thinking...What if we had an additional place where we may put a short description of the plot?

 

My next creation will be: Officer mim - The spanking frenzy!

 

In my fantasy I can see all the scenes of that film!!! And believe me: it is XXXXXXXX rated!!!

It would be soooooo cool if I could share that with ya!!!!

It looks like they did away with the irritating "namey's" title.  They actually put "hot16's" as part of my title. So slight improvement?

I noticed that too!  Still, if they did generate the username in the title, it would be nice if even that could be adjusted.  I mean a username is just that, a username I generated and added a number to just because someone else had the one I wanted first.  If we could add in a Display name, that would be nice.  That way even if it was the same as someone else on the server (even though they are an inactive player -sigh-) it would look like an actual Porn Star instead of the username that someone picked just because it wasn't taken already.

 

Of course having a Display name might warrant another forum topic altogether.

US2 server yes, but NU1 server is different.  This is the forum that the game directs everyone from NU1 server to.  If reporting is ever made on titles on NU1 server, I've never heard of them doing anything about it.
